Patterns And Prints

Patterns have been around sense the beginning of time, you can find patterns in ancient architecture, wall paintings and even some of the clothing our old ancestor wore. Egypt was the most prevalent culture that dabbled in patterns and fashion in general for that fact. The root of pattern making is all based in the ancient locations of the world. Rome, Greece, Italy all a copy of patterns that ruled the ancient world and today we use them in our fashion. Pattern mixing is seen more now than ever before we mix polka dots with solids and strips with lite patterns. Prints are what we call patterns on paper, there are tons of patterns in circulation every single day, manufactures are always looking for the next new pattern and so are the consumers. Also bleaching is really in now it's kind of like a print or pattern in a way, sometime I feel like it's way over done but I can see why because it's extremely convenient and it's looks cool.
Patterns are defiantly going to be in especially for spring 2013, there're sure to be polka dots and floral prints everywhere. Although that will be the case certain body types can't just wear all types of prints frivolously if you're thicker of course you'll have to look out for unflattering prints and patterns, it can be very easy to think a garment is cute, and buy it just for that fact but you should always evaluate your choices in clothes while you're in the midst of shopping. Also keep in mind that prints also are in jeans and other types of pants. Again reiterating the fact that you do not have to go to these expensive shops to stay on trend. I'm sure they'll be plenty of vintage wearing dolls out in the world this spring remember (try on clothes first).
