Costume Jewlery

     By now all of the fashionistas in the world should've sense discovered the layer of depth that costume jewelry can add to and ensemble. When you pair a gody oversized necklace with a simple black elegant gown it can change the entire look. Say for instance you find yourself at a cocktail hour with a "plain Jane" dress or even shirt, you could dress that up by adding a pair of statement earing's. We are so obsessed with individuality now days anyway so why not add a few statement pieces to the collection. Costume jewelry pieces are really the eye catchers/ attention getters when someone looks you from head to toe, more than likely they'll compliment you on your selection of jewels and then gaze down at the rest of your outfit to make sure it's up to par. It use to be that when you wore large jewels the fabrics that you wore with them had to be equally as luxurious as the costume jewelry. Now we're in the stage of fashion were almost anything goes, cottons with silks and linins with cashmeres. We update our styles constantly based on what our jewelry collections look like, most people that dabble in fashion know what does and does not go. You CAN'T match something that looks too cheap or is poorly stitched with an Oscars necklace.
        A lot of attention seekers tend to wear huge over done jewels 24-7 but in doing that you'll play your jewelry collection out because people won't even question it they'll assume in their mind that it's fake. I think I hit about all of the main points in this blog that I wanted to, the main one being "dress your outfit up with costume jewels" my mom would never listen when I told her that but it's a really easy alternative if you don't feel like going home and changing clothes all together, also it doesn't hurt to carry around a few (all purpose) pieces in your bag just in case something pops up and you can just throw those on and you'll be good to go. Also ladies, don't be afraid of statement hair clips or cuffs, not to mention bangles, men tend to be really intrigued by the clashing of them for some reason.
